I am cutting tiles. The ArcMap project has a .tif file. The cut tiles are really dark. Any white is coming out grey. A month ago, I cut tiles and they looked fine. Today, they are grey. I have recreated the project and they still look the same. I have tried modifying the layer transparency, the RGB values, etc and no matter what I do, the tiles look the same. What could be causing this? Thanks.

Have you updated ArcGIS or Arc2Earth during that time?

    cheers

I moved to a server environment. The server is running a different ArcMap version and patch and a different Arc2Earth patch. I retested it on the old box and I got dark tiles also. I'm not sure what happened between now and them. I'm the only one who can access these boxes beside IT. It worked prior to me changing to the server.
After more testing, I figured out that setting transparency on the display tab of the tif properties in ArcMap causes the image to be generated very dark. This is how it was originally set and the tiles generated like they looked in ArcMap. I removed the transparency value and it generated fine. That's not what I want. I want to set the transparency on this particular layer while other layers in the MXD are not transparent.
