Is it possible to generate 512x512 map tiles (2x resolution for retina displays)?

I use A2E to generate 256x256 tiles for use as an overlay in Google Maps. Unfortunately, on high-DPI displays (aka "retina displays"), these 256x256 tiles are upscaled and end up looking blurry. Since high-DPI are increasingly the norm, is there a way to generate higher-resolution map tiles (e.g. 512x512, 768x768, etc) using A2E?

See the following images for an example of what I'm asking about. The first image is a normal 256x256 tile, and the second image is the higher-res 512x512 tile that I would also like to be able to generate.
