Arc2Earth Data Services Beta
Getting Started
1) Download the Beta installer using the link from the email
2) Install Arc2Earth with Admin rights
3) Open ArcMap and goto the Arc2Earth toolbar->Help
Menu->Show Options menu item:

4) Enter the A2E Data Services Serial Number from the email in
the textbox and then hit the Check License button. You should see a
green checkbox and a date showing the duration of the license
5) That's it, you can now start using A2E Data Services
Known Issues
1) Several features are currently turned off in the beta, we
will be providing a new installer in the coming weeks with this
functionality.
2) Features that are currently turned on: Google Maps Toolbar,
Google Fusion Tables Upload, Download Terrain data. Our survey
information tells us that the next major item of interest is
Geocoding so the Batch GeoCode and Reverse Batch Geocode features
will be turned on next
Arc2Earth Data Services Toolbars

Mapping Toolbar Buttons (from the left)
1) Toggles the background map image. When this option is on, A2E
will automatically query Google's imagery services for data
relevant to the current map extent.
2) Refresh the current map
3) Map type dropdown - select the map type (Street, Satellite,
Hybrid, Terrain) to bew viewed
4) Map Level - Skip to an exact map level. If you zoom or pan the
map using Arcmap's built-in tools, the map leevl will be set
automatically and the map scale will be snapped to current map
level
5) Search - shortcut to the address search dialog. Uses Google's
worldwide geocoder to find addresses and then zoom to them on the
map
6) Properties - Open the Data Services tab on the main Option
dialog.
7) Saves the current map image as a georeferenced raster
datasource

Geocode - (turned off for current beta)
2) Reverse Batch Geocode - (turned off for current beta)
3) Search - see 5 above
4) Line Of Sight Calculator - (turned off for current beta)
5) Download Terrain - Downloads 3000 sample terrain points for the
current map extent and creates a 3D FeatureClass with the data
6) Routing - (turned off for current beta)
7) Upload to Fusion Tables - Upload one of the current map layers
to Fusion Tables using any Google Account.
8) Save Fusion Table - (turned off for current beta)
